ABOUT

educator for photographers

I'm a true believer that there's more to life than living the creative grind.

I have the sweetest blended family and three small dogs (though it would be closer to 8 if my husband was into it). I met my husband when I was 10 years old and married him when we were 33. I prefer hiding behind my camera over being in front of it. Before I was a wedding and portrait photographer, I was a social worker (that’s what I actually went to college for). I am constantly inspired by the stories of my lovely clients (which is what keeps me going year after year) and I’ve spent over a decade documenting weddings and portraits, perfecting my craft and educating others. I’d love to educate you, too.

Enneagram 2. Hopeless Romantic. Confident. Fearlessly Optimistic.

Based in Maine, Jennifer brings over a decade of hands on photography & business owning experience

I never dreamed of being a photographer. When I was young, my plan was to be happy. I knew I wanted to spend my life putting a smile on others' faces & I wanted to step out of my comfort zone. Realistically, I wanted to work with people who needed help. That brought me to photography & education... and I've never been happier.

LOVES: positivity, traveling, dogs, the color pink, catchy pop tunes, true crime podcasts, making people smile, gifting.

uplevel your business & your brain

There's a lot of talk about mindset shifts & meditation in the world but I think the most important thing is digging into yourself & finding what works best for you. I also thing that being grateful for where you are is key to making big shifts in your business. You shouldn't feel the need to do it alone. I've helped a lot of creatives make big leaps in their career. It's not all about seeing a financial impact but I won't lie, that part is REALLY good, too.
